2017-2018  Basketball Registration Information 

Registration Dates: (October 9 – November 22, 2017)

Age Control Date is January 1, 2018.  No request or consideration will be taken for children to be placed on a certain team with another child except for brothers and sisters.

 

Men’s & Women’s League organizational meeting will be held on January 8, 2018 @ 6:00 p.m. at Kaolin Park Gym.  A league will be formed if enough interest is shown.

Try-outs will be held at the following times:

 

Mighty Mite                           5:30 p.m.        C1       November 27, 2017

Flea/Mite Girls                     5:30 p.m.        C1        November 28, 2017 **

Midget Girls                           5:30 p.m.        C1       November 28, 2017 **

Flea Boys                                6:30 p.m.         C1      November 27, 2017

Mite League Boys                 7:30 p.m.      C1       November 27, 2017

** All girls will try-out at the same time. **

 

Coaches Meeting: November 16, 2017 @ 6:30 p.m.

Team Drafts:

November 30 @ 5:30 p.m. – Flea Boys; 6:15 – Flea Girls; 7:00 – Mite Boys; 7:30 – Midget Girls; 8:00 – Midget Boys & 8:30 – Junior Boys

 

Practices Begin: December 4, 2017 @ 5:30 p.m.

**Effective for Basketball, rules were approved to allow participants to be eligible to participate on school teams and in recreation program in the the same sport.  It was approved for middle school and below to participate in both local recreation program and school team.  It was also approved for 9th graders that are 14 and younger to participate on school team and GRPA as long as they meet eligibility and GRPA requirements.
