Current Job Openings:

Full Time Clerk

Washington County Road Department

The successful candidate will perform a variety of administrative tasks, office support, shop support, and other activities for the Road Department. This position is under the direct supervision of the Public Work Director. The position requires proficiency in the following:

  • Record keeping and maintenance of files
  • Communication with the public
  • Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Preparing invoices and charge-outs
  • Maintaining inventory (ordering parts/items for the shop)
  • Scheduling maintenance and repairs

Full Time Equipment Operator (Road Department):

Applicants must be willing to learn and capable of operating equipment such as tractors, motor graders, backhoes, etc. A Commercial Driver’s License is a plus.
